Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference

With its rich literary and intellectual tradition, the 99th annual Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference will bring emerging writers together to work with a diverse and talented faculty. For ten days in August, Participants and Fellows will experience the opportunity of working under the guidance of notable writers, including MacArthur Fellows, U.S. Poets Laureate, and recipients of the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award.

Phoenix Books is thrilled to present an evening with Pulitzer Prize & National Book Award Finalist Rebecca Makkai, who will discuss her recently-released, riveting new novel I Have Some Questions for You.  Rebecca will be joined in conversation by novelist and poet Maria Hummel at Phoenix Books in downtown Burlington.

TICKETS: $3. Your ticket comes with a coupon for $3 off any of the author’s books. Coupons expire at closing the evening of the event. Tickets can be purchased at the registration link below, or at the door.
