The Hundred-Year House is this year's Lake Forest Reads Ragdale selection. The culminating event of the whole shebang is my conversation with Davis Schneiderman (one of the best interviewers I know) at Lily Holt Reid Memorial Chapel, on the campus of Lake Forest College. Along with the writers Jamie Freveletti and Mary Morris, I'll be in conversation with Chicago Tribune literary editor Elizabeth Taylor at the Women's Athletic Club. A night of Badass Historical Women! I'll be reading from Music for Wartime and chatting with Renee Rosen, author of the brand new White-Collar Girl and the bestselling What the Lady Wants. This one is going to be fun!
