I'll be speaking about The Great Believers and signing books at the Pablo Center in Eau Claire, WI. This is the 3rd Annual John, Elizabeth and Alison Morris Memorial Event, sponsored by Greg Morris and the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire Foundation. Tickets are $10.

I'm thrilled to be presenting at the Chicago Humanities Festival and to accept the Chicago Tribune's Heartland Prize for fiction. Legendary local journalist Rick Kogan will be in conversation with me. The event venue is on the campus of Northwestern University. Tickets available to members in late September, and to the public on October 1st.
